Memorial Day Weekend at Parramore

Papa had the cabin all nice and clean when we arrived. Notice the vase with flowers!

The boys wasted no time getting out the guns for a little target practice.


Even though it was FREEZING all weekend, the girls still went in the creek to look for critters.

It rained part of Saturday so we played games inside. This was a VERY serious game of Scrabble.

On the last day our whole group was first at the gate and they chose us to "Open the Park". They let us in early and gave us these Honorary Citizen bagdes to wear!!!

What Happens in Vegas...

Dan attended a conference in Vegas and thanks to Nana, I was able to go with him. We were able to see the shows MYSTERE by Cirque du Soleil, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, (our favorite- it was MAGNIFICENT), and the BLUE MAN GROUP. Very cool. This guy was our favorite of the 3 blue men.

We ate at SERENDIPITY 3 one day. This is their famous FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE. It was ok. We really liked the restaurant BOUCHON, and the buffet at the WYNN.

I was drooling over these fancy desserts at PAYARDS, a fancy french restaurant/bakery in Caesar's Palace Casino. We ate SO much this week. I had to shop non-stop just to walk all those calories off!
