Labor Day at the Beach

We spent Labor Day Weekend in Napa with the cousins and Nana & Papa. We went to the beach on Saturday which was a little overcast and chilly!

Limo Night

Our ward had an auction to raise money for the YW to go to camp and we, along with some friends bid on a "Limo Night". For the first part, we took all the kids to yogurt. Then, we dropped them all at their homes and the adults went to dinner at Centro in SACTO and then on to Rick's Dessert Diner. How fun!

It's About Time!!!!

For all of those who gave up on the Crook Family Blog, take heart! Here comes a new post! Today the AMGEN Tour of California ( The largest cycling event in America, the 2010 Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race) cycled right down the street in front of our gates. We walked the two streets down by the park, and camped out on the side blocked-off road with friends. Lots of CHP on motorcycles etc. Fun to see all the cyclists. We tried to pick out Lance Armstrong, but they were so FAST!!!! Can you find Lance??

Yep, you got it ! White Christmas!! When the phone rang at 5:30am I was bracing for news of a family emergency but was instead greeted by the school Superintendant announcing that school would be closed today due to "inclement weather". What inclement weather I thought. Is it windy and rainy? No, I don't hear anything. Snow? I ran to the window and sure enough............
